The Qualities of the Cross-Century Talents

In order to survive and succeed in the 21st century, the cross-century talents should have a good education background, strong communication skills and an open mind, etc.

Because our society is characterized by the "knowledge economy", education back- ground is becoming vital to all of us. We surely need to learn modern technology in order to succeed in our life. As the world economy becomes more and more globalized, we need tocontact different people in different parts of the world. A good command of a foreign lan-guage and an understanding of cultural difference become increasingly important. As theworld becomes "smaller", we need to be more open-minded to new ideas.
